: 3 reels out of 5Like my husband, I awaited the excitement of Hellboy II with anticipation and I wasn't disappointed. However, like most sequels, the second is never really as good as the first. I thought it was a good movie to watch and I enjoyed watching the action, tho it seems to me there was not nearly enough. The scene where Hellboy and Abe were commiserating over love with "I can't smile without you" made me smile. There were some funny little moments and they really made the movie enjoyable for me. All in all a good movie.
